Montana, from Cloud’s fabled Pryor Mountain herd, boasts a distinguished pedigree. He has the head and neck of the Spanish barb, the progenitor of many mustangs. Removed from the wild as an adult bachelor, he is gentled, not broken. He’s living proof that older mustangs adapt and engage with their human partners.
